Giving thanks

A couple of days ago, I was out for a walk in my neighborhood in the very late afternoon.  The sky was turning a lovely shade of pink-lavender so I walked to the top of the nearby hill just a few blocks away.  The top of the hill is a rather large area with a lot of rather large homes.  But it does have one redeeming quality — a perfect view of Mount Rainier.  The sunset on the mountain was breath-taking.  I stood there a long time watching the mountain and the sunset.  (click on photos to enlarge them)

Tomorrow, Thursday, is “Thanksgiving Day” here in the USA and some other countries as well.  So whoever you give thanks to and however you give thanks, please join your heart and energy with everyone around the world who is doing the same and give thanks for whatever makes you feel grateful … a good meal, friends/family, a really comfortable pair of shoes, music, memories, or maybe even a gorgeous sunset.

I give thanks for all of you folks, each one of you, wherever you are in the world.
