Travels with Towhee has returned

Hi everyone!  So nice to see you!  Some of you will have noticed that this blog website has been completely off-line for a few days … several days in fact.  But it’s back up now and I hope it’s back up forever.  It’s still not as fast as it should be, but it’s better.  Now I can take the time to research what it needs for that improvement.

Bluehost, the company that puts this website online, has apologized profusely for the problems and have refunded all my money (yay).  I will pay going forward, but they refunded everything in the past, including the bogus fees I was required to pay to them a couple of weeks ago.

As well, the blog is now back on “shared server” space so the digital files are easily accessible should I move the blog to another host company … Hostgator, Blogger, or wherever … and I will be looking into that, although Bluehost has an excellent reputation.  We shall see.

So!  Give me a few days to regroup.  I will then post some more fun photos and info from the rest of my camping trip to Logan Lake in British Columbia, Canada.  Thank you for your patience and for sticking with me through this.  I have lots more to share with you!

Glad you’re back. I would have no idea how to fix anything or research other blog servers. I suppose I should get myself educated in the event I need to do something. Always scary to me, having to fix something like that.

Thanks Dawn. I used to be an IT admin/tech at the State library for the blind here in Washington, so I know much of this stuff. But I’ve been away from that for about seven years and it has changed so much in that time! It’s complicated. At least I know the language they speak and that’s half the battle. Let’s hope you never have problems … feel free to email me if you do.
